Its been a long time coming but found a bit of hobby time.
The WiFi card is mounted outside of the RF shielding. Bringing the antenna connections to a rear, bulkhead connector should stay outside of the shielding.
The most likely spots look like the left and right corners of the upper case half.
Not a whole lot of space in that area once the little box is put back together.

First check looks as if the connectors can be mounted there, with only a slight bit of nibbling away of one of the supporting webs of the case post.
